When I was in Australia and a manager at a Night Owl (Similar to a 711) we would never allow staff to park in front of the store, they would always park at parking’s further away from the door. The reason for this is so that the clients would have easier access to the shopping malls. I noticed this at the creche the boys go to that all the teachers would block up all the *prime* spots right by the door instead of leaving them for the parents who can nip in an out and make better use of the spaces. Is this laziness and the complete lack of consideration? Either or, I saw it again this morning, I arrived at Northgate at just after 9 and trues nuts the re were about 30 parking bays taken up by staff right next to the door and not another car in site in the rest of the parking lot. I am convinced that again the staff have taken up these *prime* spots in a case of inconsideration or laziness or maybe a mixture of the two. Your clients should be the first priority and make it as easy as possible for them to come in and see you. That being said we are guilty of this same feat at work – in the defence though we do not have similar walk in traffic to that of a shopping centre or a creche…
