Drop a pants size
I just do not get it! Ok yea since having the kids I did not loose the weight that I gained rapidly in the last couple of years, giving up smoking and having kids took the toll on the mid size girth thing I had going. Well at my heaviest at the end of last year I tipped the poor scale at 102.6 (The .6 is important do not knock it) – well this year bar a few winter months I have got back on the bike, started riding again after a good 2 -3 year lay off. Well at this stage I am happy to admit that I have successfully dropped 10 kilos. See I tend to weigh in between 91.9 and 94 depending on the time of day etc however I tend to be well below 95 which I am really pleased about. Agreed I still have a way to go, my first goal target weight was 90 kilos from there I will reevaluate and possible head for 85. Now this exercise of loosing weight has taken the better part of 10 months. Sure I am not done yet however feeling in great shape for the 94.7 on Sunday. Being really upbeat yesturday I thought hey these 501′s are a tad baggy let me scratch around for a smaller size in the cupboard and see if I am ready to drop a size. Well I did voluptuously fill a size 38 which is baggy on me now so I figured I would try a 36. Oh my hat what a monumental disappointment. I could barely button them up and it felt like I was trying to slide on a pair of leathers of sorts. Ok so I have lost 10 kilos and have yet to drop a pants size. Is that just not the craziest thing, now there are add abundance of drop a size in two weeks or a month or the likes, how the hell? To effectively do that you should really loose between 12 and 15 kilos at a guess. Could it be that most of my weight that I have lost was midway girth and not the waist so it has no effect yet on the size of jean pants that I wear…
mmm not really motivating however we will keep striving to get into that smaller pair of jeans!
