Ungreatful gits!

Have a closer look @ the picture – yes that really is food on the ground. Eskom workers protesting and throwing food around like no ones business. Not happy with your pay – then do not work their – no happy with the food – do not eat it – collect it and give it to someone who does appreciate it. Do you see those people looking for food in the bins? Do you think they do it for a jol or something? No man there are seriously people out there that hunt for their next meal. We have an unemployment rate of 25% – yes that means when you sit in church on Sunday and there are 8 people in the pew – chances are that 2 of you are unemployed! If you sign up and accept a job and the pay packet that goes with it – is it fair of you to stand and demand increases that are over and above inflation? IF you do not like your job and not satisfied then step aside guys there is a ques of people waiting to take YOUR place.

Let me not mince my words – what happened here where you have thrown food around is disgusting, disgraceful and the lot of your should be ashamed of yourself. It is a barbaric disrespect for what you have!

Dirty Bakkies

Hey bakkies – mate this is not even funny and really gives SA a bad name – niggling is one thing this was just right overboard man

Thank you Mr Sepp Blatter

Dear Mr Blatter

Thank you very much from me personally and I am sure on behalf of millions of South African’s. You Mr Blatter have stood by this country since we were awarded the honour in hosting your fantastic tournament. In the past few years I have been a distant watcher on your comments and have greatly admired you as you have stood up for South Africa time and time again.

  • They said “The stadiums are not finished” – you said they would be and there were, you called them masterpieces.
  • They said it was un safe to come to South Africa – you told them to come – they came and we looked after them.
  • They said the ticket sales were down – you broke all ticketing records with the tournament
  • They said it was a mistake giving the honour to South Africa – you said it will be the best games ever -and it was
  • They said ban the vuvuzeles – you said let them blow – we did and now the vuvu is a world wide sensation – you right Mr Blatter – Africa does have it;s own rhythm.

You see Mr Blatter the way I see it, it is your who we should say thank you to. You have  gave us the chance, you made us proud, you have given us such a boost in confidence , a new found believability as a nation and the national pride that came from hosting this magnificent event.

Thank you Mr Blatter!

Show me the total

Does it drive you mad when you go shopping you add up what you spend and expect to pay @ check out – the way alot of the till are positioned these days with screens you cannot see them ringing up everything and in turn you cannot see the tally on what you owe, then to top it off you have to ask what the total is. Then the final cherry is when they happily swipe you card swing the machine around and you need to input your pin number – again all the while you have not seen the total. Thumbs up to woolies though I see they have new machines in store and you can see the total amount going off your card before you enter your pin – the restaurants and the likes could use a lesson or two. OK sure it is automated now etc however a few times I have had the item wrung up at a different amount and once had the card go off as the wrong amount – I am one person – technology is supposed to make us work smarter – not faster and more untidily – lazy – keep the checks and balances in place and the consumer informed – show them what they are paying – for each item and in the total….

Experiences

Some one has – someone has not – someone experiences and some do not – now when you make a change or do something in your life you learn about things that you did not know and learn about things you did know – then you get used to things you did not know to forget about things you did know – experiences are like this

You heard about it now see the movie :)

I am feeling it!!!

Thank you FIFA!

Well the talk is over for now about the throat hold FIFA has had on tickets, hospitality and the whole handling of the WC in South Africa, time for that though to take a back seat – for now atleast. We can then step up our thanx to the plate – thank you Fifa for believing in us, thank you for support us and South Africa thanks you for this giving us this unifying tournament that is doing wonders on the tip of Africa – Thank you!

Now  every one stand up and FEEL IT!!!

I am feeling it :

Where is 007?

OK we always grew up being told now remember that is just a movie. Well the longer we live the closer this gap seems to be closing in around us. Look this week, an art heist in Paris worth in excess of 400 million pounds – is that not crazy? Then the nutter even has time to cut the works of art from their frames? Was this vandalism of the highest calibre? Is there another motive? James Bond come to the rescue man – chase the art theif through the countries and yea man I really hope you get the girl @ the end as well! In addition to this wow we are realy living in an advancing world, saw some military demonstrations on TV last night and boy it certainly looks like something out of a movie with all the gadgets, weaponry and military precision that is generally reserved for the big screen, so some food for thought is the gap closing between reality and fiction? Or is it like some great men have said in the past:

What the mind of man can concieve and believe he can achieve

Drop goal!

This is the most amazing kick! Have you seen it?
